About Carla

I’m blessed to have been taking photos for the past 20 years! I love that we can take digital photos and still be able to print something amazing to feature in our homes or preserve in an album! I’m a wife, mother to 3, mother-in-law to 2, Grandma to 2, a dog mom to one and a granddog mom to one!

I’ve been blessed to take photos through all stages of life of my own family and many friends and extended family. I’m a musician and my family is filled with musicians, dancers and artists who also have other careers. If I’m not performing, I’m taking photos!

I enjoy volunteering in my community and have served on the Suwanee Public Arts Commission since 2019. I served as the Social Media Director and Secretary for the Broad Street Community Band of Sugar Hill for 11 years and my husband and I also play trumpet in this band and in the Gwinnett Community Band. Both bands are made up of amateur and semi-professional musicians and current and retired music educators, ages 18-80+. I served as the lead photographer for the North Gwinnett High School Marching Band for 8 years and for the North Gwinnett High School Dance Program for 7 years. I enjoy coaching and mentoring aspiring photographers of all ages.
